Justice in Aging is a national organization that uses the power of law to fight senior poverty by securing access to affordable health care, economic security, and the courts for older adults with limited resources. We train and provide free resources to thousands of professional advocates and legal aid attorneys per year across the country in order to help them better serve older adults’ needs. From these on-the-ground partners we hear about specific issues older adults are facing in trying to meet their needs and then we advocate at the local, state, and federal level to fix those issues.
Justice in Aging partners closely with California state leaders and other advocates to enact policy changes that make California a better place to age and shares strategies with states nationwide to identify opportunities and implement similar changes in their own states.
