      Wellness & Self-Care

LAAC members have access to monthly workshops, free of charge, that feature curated information about self-care and wellness for legal aid professionals. Members also receive fitness discounts, access to fun wellness challenges, retreats, and more.

We’ve covered a ton of wellness topics at our monthly summits, such as stress management, burnout, imposter syndrome, perfectionism in the legal profession, vicarious trauma, yoga, meditation, and centering. LAAC is here to support the legal aid community, and we value wellness as a strategy to strengthen retention across the sector and prevent burnout for individuals. You can find resources and past recordings of these summits here.
